Characters of Character earned a National Promising Practice Award through Character Education Partnership in Washington D.C. while I was on the Reading Team in an Elementary School in Illinois. Formed a 501(c)(3) to reach more children with these important core values. We've visited libraries, park districts, homes, classrooms, hospitals and communities with our messages.
Just prior to the Pandemic we discovered a need for and appreciation for activity boxes we created. Today, we have donated over 1,300 Superhero activity boxes to children's hospitals. We are able to donate if funding is provided to most locations in Tennessee. We have also donated our Mindful Confidence Building activity boxes to the Metro Nashville Schools and Hendersonville Library. We would like to bring both of these to Robertson County as resources for educators, other organizations, schools, churches and After School Clubs. All nine of the characters will have their own activity boxes soon!
These character messages, lessons and activities have impacted thousands of children and we hope we can add value to Robertson County and the surrounding communities here in Tennessee.
