Willow Oak Spring Choral Concert: Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem

Join us for a concert of beautiful choral music! The Willow Oak Chorale, under the baton of David Seay, will present Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem on Saturday, June 3^rd at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The lovely sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, lit by candlelight, will provide an inspirational setting for this music. The Chorale will be accompanied by organ and harp.

Considered to be a masterpiece of the late 19^th century, the work embodies the composer’s peaceable vision of paradise. Fauré described the Requiem as having “a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest.”

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students.
