The Robertson County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Robertson County School System to connect employers with high school seniors who are entering the workforce following their graduation. Workforce is an issue for all of the Middle Tennessee region. Connecting our employers to a qualified workforce is essential to the success of business growth and development.
Q: Who will be attending the job fair? A: Robertson County High School Seniors who are graduating in May 2023. These specific students have identified themselves as entering the workforce immediately.
Q: How are they being prepared for this day and success in the future? A:The Robertson County Career Technical Education Department and Family and Consumer Science teachers as well as Chamber Ambassadors are coaching the potential applicants on interview skills, soft skills, resume building and more. The work this department has done throughout the year will better prepare these students for success in the their future. Students will come to this job fair on a bus with their school chaperon dressed for success with resumes ready. An interview room will be available for any business wanting to conduct immediate interviews.
Q: What employers will be present? A:The Chamber is recruiting employers specifically in Robertson County to attend this event. Our goal is to pair students with compatible employers within our county.
DETAILS OF THE DAY: Buses will bring the first group of students at 9:00 a.m. and the last bus will drop off at 12:00 noon, each group of students will have 1 hour with employers. We ask that all employers arrive by 8:30 a.m. Space is limited and a registration form must be turned in by April 1st to info@robertsonchamber.org in order to participate or register online at www.robertsonchamber.org
Snacks will be provided for all employers and pizza will be provided immediately following the last group of students.
